499 days!!! Less than 500 days, finally!!

:dance3:  :dance3: :cheer2:

I noticed it about 11:00pm last night & was going to write the same thing. you beat me to it ;)

Under 500 days...it will be here before we know it!! :cool1:

My dd loves Build-A-Bear. Last trip we told her she could spend $20. She probably picked up $100 worth of stuff. We had to narrow it down, which was so heartbreaking for her. We told her she could go on-line and make a wish list. You should see it. I think every product is on her wish list.

Yeah i wasn't too bad this trip.
My coworker and I made our supervisor a bunny, with the outfit it only came to $30 dollars. It was adorable though. She calls us her angels because we are so on top of things. Her mother died about 3 years ago and butterflies were their thing. They had the perfect shirt though so we had to get it for her. "angel" was surrounded by the butterflies. I have honestly never had a supervisor as wonderful as her. The bear I made for me today was $32 which isn't bad. My coworker's was $42 but well she went all out.

It gets expensive there though but everything is so cute I had to keep myself in check. Most of the kids around us had parents having to do the same as you did. One little girl wanted like 5 outfits and cried when she couldn't have them all.

I am scared to take my daughter to build a Bear. She is a stuffed animal freak and she would want to make 100 bears. Ha Ha.

Hey guys!We are having a disaster here. Our main computer won't boot up at all. :badpc: :sad2:
DH is trying to get it to work, but it isn't looking good. I am very sad. He doesn't have a really regular schedule for backing everything up either. He thinks the last time he backed up was the beginning of summer. He did write all of the photos to a DVD just after field day this year too, so at least they wouldn't all be gone. The ones from the last vacation are actually still on the camera so I think all that we would be missing would be Jacob's birthday and a few pics here and there. I know my folks took a few at his party and my DSIL did too. Luckily all of my email addresses are on the laptop too. Send some pixie dust our way that he gets it fixed.

Isn't build a bear great! DS has one and DD has two and that is all. I try to avoid taking them there or we would go broke. Someone on another thread I am on made a monkey there and he has become our cruise monkey. We are all passing him around for our vacations. I haven't gotten him yet, but I did see him when he was in Denver at a dismeet. It is a lot of fun. His name is Cosmo.

Oh no. Thats sad.

Pixie Dust. pixiedust:

Hopefully, your DH will be able to fix it. If not, there are places that can recover old data off of a harddrive since it might not be a hard drive problem, so not all will be lost. But if it wont turn on, it could be a power brick failure. (I spent too much time hanging out at the Geek Squad at work)

DH is a computer guy so I am hoping he can fix it. If not maybe when we get back from vacation we can take it somewhere.

I see you are leaving tomorrow. Have a great trip and don't worry about the computer, you can fix it when you get back.

DH is still working on the computer. The good thing is he was able to get the back up harddrive to come up and it hadn't been as long as I thought since he backed up the main drive. I think I have all of my pictures, maybe missing a few shots around the house or something. I am probably missing a few things from the desktop, but I can't think of anything that was extremely important.

I am all done at work. The kids are going to daycare for awhile tomorrow. I will spend the day finishing the packing and picking up around the house. Then I will probably pick them up after swim lessons and after DH gets home we will take off for the airport hotel. We are going to eat dinner on the way cause I am done cooking here.

Thanks, not much longer now. I am going to pick up the kids from daycare in about an hour and hopefully by that time DH will be home. We have a few last minute things to get together and then we will head out to the hotel.

Everyone have a great week!!!!! :cool1:

We look forward to hearing about your trip. Have a fabulous time.

Sorry about the computer. My dh is a computer guy too and our computer has crashed twice recently. You'd think they'd learn to back-up essential stuff. Thankfully, all of our photos were backed up, except dd's 5th birthday. We had printed some of those pictures though, so it wasn't a total loss.

Tell Mickey hi for us!!

Hey all! Hope everyone is having a good weekdend. We are camping this weekend. The house is almost totally clean and don't want to mess it up. We woke up in the camper this morning and heard thunder. It is now raining (as it always does when we camp) so we are back home. I suppose I can get some laundry done. The kids are totally bored because everything is packed. DD and I leave for Girl Scout Troop Camp on Tuesday. We're putting the house on the market on Friday when we get home. Hopefully it will sell quickly.

I slipped up the other day when I reading this thread. My kids don't know about this cruise, they only know about the spring break in March. I mentioned to DD that the cruise was less than 500 days away, she looked at me and said "that would be 1 1/2 years mom, March isn't that far away". I made a quick recovery and said something about I must be looking at the wrong person's ticker. This is the cruise I'm excited about though because, they'll be other DISers and it will be Christmastime.

The laundry is calling...I think it may have the wrong number though. :)

Well, I have been unpacking all day and yesterday. I am so behind schedule on this. I should have been done by now. I hope everyone is having a great day! Back to work tommorrow...Ughh!

Tammy--What were you doing on the DIS boards at 1:00 in the morning? You should be sleeping. Actually, I should have came down and used the computer, we could have chatted, I was up too.

Got my March 2007 package booked today. We got 7-day non-exp tickets so that we have a few days left for December.

Off to camp tomorrow, better go pack now. Have a good week!

Stacie--Insomnia....Strikes from time to time. But, I am back on schedule now.

How are you doing with the baby and all?
