Everywhere I have read says that it is best to book your trip as early as possible. We are planning a trip for 8/10. I want to book so that everything is set and we can make all of our ADR's at the 180 day point. However, I'm worried that some great deal is going to come up after I book the trip? Is Disney good at working with you to get the lower rate? Does it effect your ADR's if they do work with you?

Disney will usually honor a deal or discount code after you booked. So if you want to book now go ahead and just keep an eye out for the upcoming deals! Also, you cannot book ADR's 180 days anymore. It is now 90 days.

Not true about the 90 days. Disney moved it back to 180 days on Aug 17th. See below for details.

And yes, they will honor a lower rate with an existing reservation.

thanx for the info. I did not know that. My June trip was 90 days and my sept trip I booked w/in 90 days. Nice to know 4 the future. Hopefully it does not change again by then;)

Wow, good to know they changed it back! I tried to get reservations 180 days out, and they told me no, to call back at 90 days!

Anyway, original question - we booked our November trip in January. so I say the earlier the better!
