Early AM drop off for MK

Is it possible to be dropped off at the Contemporary early AM in order to walk to MK? Staying off site and will have a family member take me. Better strategy?

From what I've been reading, it's getting harder and harder to do this. If you have a sit down ADR, then yes you can. If you mobile order QS it has been hit or miss but a lot of people are saying they are cracking down on this and won't let you in just for a mobile order. As far as just getting dropped off with the plan to walk to MK, no you will most likely be turned away.

Is it better to be dropped off at TTC? How early do they let you? Then take the monorail or ferry?

You can only do this if you have a dining reservation for a table service restaurant. Being dropped off for any other reason is not allowed generally and your vehicle will be turned around at the gate. I agree with @ssgtravel and recommend being dropped off at the TTC.

The parking lot has been opening approx. 45 minutes prior to stated park opening. Vehicles arriving more than an hour early will be turned away; they may start to allow cars to line up about 50-60 minutes prior to stated park opening time.

Back in 2016, I took a cab from Yacht Club to the Contemporary walkway. The cab took me to the entrance of the parking lot and let me out there, outside the guard gate, right next to the walkway. It was very close to where you cross at the light and walk directly under the monorail. It was easy peasy from there.

It's been awhile and I don't remember if there's more than one parking lot entrance, so you'd want that one.

I don't know if they're still letting people do that but it worked great. If the car service needs to go through the gate to turn around, tell the guard you're going to walk to MK and get out on the outside of the gate, before the car goes through.
