Is there anyplace in WDW to have your ears pierced? My DD wants to get hers done, and I thought it might be fun to do it at WDW.

Thanks!

Saying the same thing...I don't know of any place there that pierces ears. You might look in the old threads b/c this has been brought up before. Also, when we had DD's ears pierced(a year ago) she was told no swimming the first couple of weeks b/c possibly infecting the holes.

It absolutely takes 8 weeks to heal earlobe piercings, and during that time they should not be submerged in chlorine, beach water, lake water, or any kind of water other than a shower/bath.
The chlorine is way too strong for healing tissue and will kill all everything in the area, including natural healing cells that help heal the piercing. It can dry out the lobes and make them red and dry/peely.
Any natural body of water is inhabited by living organisms, bacteria, etc. and can cause infection in a healing wound (which is what a piercing is, a puncture wound).

Yep, I agree; don't do it while on vacation. How about getting it done a couple of months before you go and then buy her first "real" earrings at Disney? They have all kinds of really cool ones at various levels of price and quality. Be sure to get good ones though. Cheap earrings and newly pierced ears do not go together.

I'm pretty sure they don't, maybe having her pick out a pair of pierced earrings there or something?

We got our DDs ears pierced like 1 month before we went to Disney and then while we were there, we bought her a couple pairs of really cute earrings.
