1. (If it does not fit the turnstiles) At Guest Relations do a no-charge modernization into a current pass with the same remaining admissions (which in your case would make it something like a one day hopper). Don't apply its remaining value in dollars to a brand new hopper pass.
2. (If you had to do #1 above) Ask for the old pass back as a souvenir, it will be stamped Void.
Regarding your suggestion to request the old park hopper back to keep as a souvenir: Is that because you think I might possibly need it for some kind of proof...or do you really mean keeping it as a souvenir?
I think it was meant that you might want to keep it as a souvenier. We traded two very old hoppers in last Spring (one from 1981 and one from 1986) and wanted to keep them for the scrapbook. They had to make photocopies for their revenue drawer and stamped them VOID. My 2 day Junior ticket (for MK only, that's all there was then) cost $18! My how times have changed!
I also have very old hopper passes with one day left. Can I trade them in at OKW the day before I go to the parks to save time or must they be exchanged at the park? Will the one day ticket they give me be for one park only or can I park hop with it?
Thanks

I am not absolutely sure whether completely unused old passes can be modernized at no cost, but there is at least one turnstile where somebody will let you in with those passes. Then the passes will no longer be completely unused, no longer be transferable, and can be modernized for sure.
Gail, Thanks for the heads up on Guest Services at DD. Last time we had to pick up tickets we did it Christmas Day at MK at 7 am. We can do it at DD the night before we go to the parks.
Thanks again everybody for the great tips on these boards.
