What does it take to cancel the E-nights in terms of weather? Also how late can you wait till you buy your ticket? Thanks.

I don't think rain would cancel an E-night. We just did one, last month, the 14th, and it was raining. I asked, when we got our wristbands, if they close down any rides because of rain. The girl said that sometimes they do, but they will open something to replace it. We got lucky, the rain stopped around 11pm and everything was open.

It was the best money we spent, on that trip!

Good luck and have fun! :D

Sounds Great! Thanks for the quick reply. Only one more week till the Magic.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hey, Dopey Sharon! We also were there and did e-Night on the 14th last month! We could have seen each other and not even know it! :earseek: It was the best money we spent during our trip too. Gotta love e-Nights!
As far as rain, it did rain, like you said until about 11 p.m. Then it just stopped. I think it did start sprinkling again later, but not bad enough to close any rides. I was grateful b/c I had been wanting to Splash Mt. all day but the rain and the long lines had kept me from doing it. I got to do Splash Mt. about 3 or 4 times (w/no line) on e-Night! ::yes::

We bought our tickets only 2 hrs. before the e-Night began b/c it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. I think you can buy them up until it starts unless they run out of tickets or something. I think they said they have a "limited amount of tickets" but we didn't have any problems. We had more fun at e-Nights than during the day b/c we were able to do most of our faves w/absolutely no wait times. We were also able to do everything 3 or 4 times.

We went on June 9th, and it was a light shower for most of the evening. It started after they had Spectro ready to go, so on it went (which surprised us). We ended up buying ponchos, and rode all of the rides that night with no problem. I even went on splash (which I never do), since I had the poncho on.....

I was with 4 other people, and we bought the tickets that day. I would recommend E-Ride Nights in a heart beat.:D

In July of last year, we had e-tickets for a Friday night. A storm with torrents of rain and tons of lightening started about 6 or 7 p.m. The storm lasted most of the evening, so obviously we didn't attempt to go to e-ticket. Anyway, they told us that they DIDN"T cancel e-ticket night but did give us a refund on our tickets.

We were also there on e night on the 14th. I had my lime green Mickey. I wish I had seen you guys. I didnt meet one person from the DIS. I was there for 7 days. Oh well maybe next year. I just love those e-nights.
I was told by a CM they only take in 5000 people and they have never sold out.

I was with my DH, three girls in there tweens and my goofy but very fun DSis. So if you saw a group that seemed alittle loud to you, that was us.:wave2:

Hey I just noticed that all the countdown clocks and signitures are missing. Is it just me or are they missing for you too.
I hope I dont have a problem with my PC.:(

It was posted a couple of days ago that they are doing maintenance and that all signatures (including countdowns) would be turned off for 24-48 hours. They should be back soon, b/c hasn't it been about 48 hrs.??

We were actually at the MK one night when it stormed. It was a very violent storm. They closed the park early. It was a huge mess. People were running from the park to get to the various means of transportation. I actually thought we were in more danger from the stampede than from the lightening. I wasn't fun. The storm lasted for hours.

We were at e-ride night during the rain. It was just a light rain, though and nothing closed down.

when me and my dad went last year it was one of the worst days of the year to go it was thunderstorming and raining so hard when we were there around 11 pm we were walking in the park and the water was aboutto my ancle. later it calmed down but they did not make people leave. they did shut down splash mounain for like an hour. But in the end there was nobody there and we went on hauted mansion 10 times. It was GREAT

Hope this helps

Last August we went to e-night in the pouring rain. Stayed at poly so we waited for a while to see if it would stop but it didn't. We had already purchased our tickets, plus I was really looking forward to it, so we put on the rain ponchos and went. At least we didn't have to worry about getting wet on splash mountain, because we really couldn't have ended up much wetter than we started. It rained and rained and didn't stop until just about maybe an hour before the e-night ended.

Hey Dalpal!~ That CM was wrong unfortunately! I have been there when they sold out! It was for a Tuesday night in late July last year! What was funny, was that I was told that the Friday night ones usually sell out.... I went ahead and bought my tickets Tuesday afternoon. But by dinner time they were sold out. Since the rest of my group didn't get their tickets in advance, we gave ours to the teenagers of the group so they could go together! Also, I thought the number of tickets sold was higher than that... 10,000 maybe? Does anyone know for certain? Any Cast Members out there?
