My In-Laws hosted a wedding reception at their house this summer. It was raining so everyone came inside. Their house has pale yellow carpet. It was a mess the next day. I took over my Dyson to vacuum the living room. Everyone stood around and watched me vacuum. They couldn't believe that the carpets were actually looking good after a huge party like that.
I think I sold them all on the Dyson.
Some things I DON'T LIKE:
- Its a bit on the heavy side.
- Sometimes makes this horrible noise like something is stuck in the brushes. When I check, it's all clear. I still don't know why it screames at me sometimes.
-The front is a bit too high and I can't properly get under couches and such.
These are things I can live with because it's a great vacuum.
I have the DC 14 and find the attachments very easy to use.
My SIL bought an older Dyson and the attachments are a PIA to use.
There are several models to choose from. Just don't run and buy the first yellow vacuum you see thats on sale. They're not all the same.
