Lightning lane necessary for Jan 26-30?

Wondering if we should spend the extra money for lighting lane or not. We are staying deluxe and will utilize the extended evening hours at HS and AK that week. We bought the 3 day D+ tickets, so we will not be visiting MK this trip. Advice?

Most crowd calendars list it as a moderate week. Not crazy busy but not deserted either. I guess it depends on your tolerance for lines vs. the cost.

I actually wouldn’t for DHS. EEH at Dhs are rare and magical. You should be able to do a couple good rides (ROTR is closed, I advise leaving SDD for end) with EEH.

Just want to say thanks for mentioning this. I’ll be there next week, and have never had the EEH at HS. I never looked at the rides offered, just assumed rise would be. Was saving it for end of night, but now I’ll do it before normal close. I’m usually on top of things, but it was unexpected for me that it was AK and HS for EEH as it’s always been EP and MK while we are there. It threw me off and I had to change a few days around from my original plan.

Im going January 25 to February 6. We are expecting it to be busy. The hotels have been sold out for a while, we booked in early October and could not find the full two weeks at any value or moderate. We booked our LL this morning and they were pricier than past Januarys. We love deluxe evening hours and after hours but the forecast is pretty cold. You might want to do some afternoons. Im Canadian, Im used to cold, we were still freezing. We booked ROTR and multi at HS, FOP at AK but no multi and GOTG at Epcot twice but multi only once. Have an excellent trip!
