Dyson AirWrap - someone posted on another thread that their Airwrap wouldn’t work onboard the ship.
I had a similar experience with two different types of flat irons. The typical flat iron worked but the Remington Brush Iron would not. Possibly because of the amount of power it takes??
So … Those of you that have brought your Airwrap did it work?

Sounds risky to use on ship. But perhaps it would work with euro adapters?

Oof, I definitely wouldn't do that unless the appliance has a switch on it to change the voltage. I destroyed a hairdryer that way (not on a ship, but in Europe using just an adapter). And in a not un-spectacular fashion, I might add.

I just googled Airwrap. WOW, that's an expensive hair styler. I definitely wouldn't risk any adapters or funky outlets.

In my googling I found someone on Reddit who said it worked on the Magic but not on the Wish. So maybe if you're going to be on a Classic ship it will work? I'd be afraid to take a $600 appliance on vacation, but that's just me.

I have to wonder if people who said it didn't work didn't use the correct outlet.

I used mine on the Fantasy last February and it worked perfectly.

It works on Royal Caribbean ships, but we haven't been on DCL yet......but I would think it would work.

I wouldn't check it though.....I always carry mine on.

I used mine on the dream for about 30 seconds (at the desk, not in the bathroom) before it cut off. I was able to reset it at home, so it wasn’t ruined but I won’t bring it again.

I used mine on the Fantasy last September and it worked great.

I've been told both it works and it doesn't. I have the airwrap and the dyson supersonic hair dryer. I think I may bring the hair dryer because the fly away attachment works as a straightener for me. Hoping it works
