Ah, yes, I remember the controversy...I almost cried when Disney pulled out. Would have done wonders for the non-Federal workforce around here, especially young people.

Worst part is the land is now a McMansion development with golf course. We get none of the infrastructure Disney promised and still ended up with the congestion everyone feared.

Awesome! I am only about 20-30 minutes or so from Ferrum and Rocky Mount. I'm in adjoining Patrick County! Glad to know I am not alone.

Fairfax Station, VA (not Occoquan, but just up 123 a bit). Ten minutes to the AutoTrain for us....we just used it a week ago yesterday returning from our latest trip to WDW.
