A few years ago I took the kids to WDW without DH. DS was probably 11-no other boys. I felt better using the companion bathrooms. The girls and I waited outside for him. It was just one more way to keep the stress out of the vacation.
Last Christmas, our kids were begging for another trip. We actually had one planned for January. On Christmas morning, DH and I set up a scavenger hunt. Each clue took them to another Disney related trinket and a puzzle piece (it was a small puzzle from the Disney Store). When the puzzle was assembled they turned it over to see the hand written message stating that they were leaving for WDW in 2 weeks! It was so much fun to watch their faces!
