SPECIAL MEMBER OFFER — GET 2 EXTRA DAYS ADDED TO YOUR TICKET!
Enjoy more of the Magic you love when you buy a non-discounted 4-day Walt Disney World® Theme Park Ticket with a valid minimum 4-night Disney Vacation Club Member Reservation and receive two extra days added to your ticket.
Take advantage of this special offer for arrivals through 9/25/21.

Wow, I think this is a first. We have been members since 2002 and I can’t recall getting an offer like this.

Its been brought up elsewhere and its a fairly terrible deal its going to save you roughly $60. Also the ticket resellers even have extra 2 days for free.

So I would 100% look at your ticket reseller of choice compared to this deal to see what will save you more. Likely fairly close might save $20 off the ticket reseller.

It has been reported that the prices via DVC are slightly better. But, buying elsewhere does not require a blue card, nor have to be tied to a DVC stay.

The only drawback about tickets bought elsewhere is Disney will not adjust via the phone is you need to change start dates, etc. Only in person. Prior to 2020, never worried...now, think one should just keep that in mind.

You can do this online via the MDE app I know for sure. I change the start date of my ticket just this week by a day. It will simply charge you the difference if there is one.

I suspect as well the tickets bought elsewhere are actually easier since they likely are just "6 day tickets" instead of "promo tickets" but not 100%.

It does not allow me to do that with any of the tickets I have bought last year or in the past. Hence my call to Disney in the spring which I was then told could not happen

Tried to add a park hopper last week to a ticket purchased this way both in the app, website, and by phone. Could not be done.

Never had an issue in person. Last spring I had to contact who I bought with and then allowed me to buy new and refund which was not normal policy.

So, my experience with tickets purchased elsewhere..two different places..has been different from yours. Wish I had that luck.

Are there any reports that DVC sells discounted tickets om say, 2 or 3 day tix? Just curious since DVC sells this deal discounted.

Smoke and mirrors to make it appear as though it is something exclusive but in reality it is not

No, they don’t. I read the better price has to do with 2021 prices being better than 2020?

I'm confused about one thing If you buy a 4 day ticket, are the 2 extra days the 2 next days or does the ticket end when a "normal" 6 day ticket ends? How can you determine the start and end date of your ticket?

I think it is like all the tickets they sell,,,,you pick a start date and it has to be used within the next 7 days. At least that is how it was in 2020...we have 4 day tickets and I had 5 days to use them.

I’m looking at this offer for my granddaughters friends for our early June trip. If I want to crunch numbers would the prices be accurate if I choose my date and put in a 4 day base ticket. I assume I could add hopper to it later after we arrive. I’m only needing a 6 day ticket. No split stay, 7 nights Bwv. Blue card holder.

I wasn’t sure what date my DS would be joining us for the fall trip. Price is slightly less if i indicate the 1st date of it.

Want to make sure he could start using it several days after if desired, appears that would work.

Appears as though a 6 day tix must be entirely used within 9 days of the stated start date, not the day it is actually first used

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/tickets/ticket-dates/

It looks like for my dates a 4 day (plus 2 days) ticket from Disney is $495.41 and from a ticket reseller for 6 days is $528.99.
Not sure if there are any benefits for spending more through a ticket reseller.

None. Matter of fact I think it’s better to go with Disney since there are things they can do if you need changes for their own tickets.

I was looking on the Disney website and don’t see the promotional price... so you have to actually call and order over the phone? I recall using the website in the past to buy APs and it would register the DVC pricing.. this isn’t the same or am I doing something wrong?

I’m crunching numbers for June 3. I see no real value in adding the hopper feature At this time. Unless they extend hours, it’s such a short window, plus there’s no guarantee you’ll get into a park, especially the studios. I finally got my AP back and was selecting my park reservation for my trip in 2 weeks. The studios is not available 1 entire week. I have a dining reservation at 50s. My florida friend said don’t think you can hop to the studios that night as the studios stays at capacity all day. Can’t get another ADR there, so have to cancel as an ADR does not guarantee entrance. Already don’t like this new system. Plus you can’t modify it, wth. 😂
