DVC ticket offer- 2 free days.

I bought the 4 plus 2 tickets yesterday. I thought it was 4-6-8 plus 2. I saw somewhere, you can get 4.5.6. etc plus 2.

Has anyone upgraded to an additional day? Did you call MS or Disney ticket?

I bought them last week from MS, the cast member asked how many days I wanted, so you could buy 4,5,6, etc and get 2 days free. We just went with the buy 4 get 2 free vs paying more money to go to parks on our travel days.

I was told 4 -6-8 days. We had planned on just starting day after travel day, but how can you stay at BLT and SEE space mountain and not go in , even for 3 or 4 hours.

I am on hold with ticketing , 50 mins so far.

Edit to add....I was on hold for 80 mins, CM comes on and say he is with resort reservations and I have to talk to MS. It won't be long...He switches me. Wait time 35 mins. I gave up. The thing is , I spoke to MS chat and they told me MS can't do anything, I have to talk to ticketing.

I'll try again tomorrow.

When I purchased mine through MS, I just did buy 4 get 2, however, since I am going for a week, the lady asked me if I wanted to make it 5 plus 2 instead- cost to add one more day would’ve been $150 she said (and that was for all 4 tix combined for June tix). I said no because we had plans to try to go to universal one day of the trip but now I am thinking that’s not worth the hassle and wish I just bought the extra day! I may call to add it (she said I could call back if I changed my mind)- if I have the time (and patience) to sit on hold for an hour...

I bought tickets this past weekend for our trip in July. We are doing a 2 night, 2 night, and 5 night stay at Riviera. We're trying out the different rooms. I was able to buy three 4+2 tickets starting on Thursday, and two 6+2 tickets starting a few days starting on Tuesday. The ticket prices were slightly less than the prices listed on the Disney World website. Definitely write down the ticket confirmation number. I was told I would get an email confirmation, but have not received it yet. I was able to use the confirmation number to link the tickets to the MDE app.

Agree on writing down the confirmation number! I never received an email as well (which is a little concerning given the amount of money spent... but I too was able to link it using the confirmation number they gave and thankfully I wrote it down correctly).

Count me in as someone who never received a confirmation number. The paper that I wrote it on is missing. I'm glad that I had already added it to MDE.

I called DVC to request an email confirmation and was told that they do not provide them. When I informed the CM that the CM who I purchased them from over the phone said that one would be emailed, she became snotty saying that this is not possible and should have never been said. Perhaps she was having a rough day, but the overall conversation was not very friendly. I'd waited 50 minutes for something that could have been answered in the non-functioning Chat feature.

Ok, before I spend a couple hours on MS, maybe you guys can help me :).

We will be there May 1-8. Want 6 day park hoppers. Looks like those will cost us $570 through a reseller.

Does anyone know what the buy 4, get 2 price would be? It sounds like it’s cheaper than posted on the WDW website.

And right now we have three nights booked on points-planning other four at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. Trying to decide if it’s worth renting one more night at AKV or doing a OTU purchase in order to get this offer. If we are only staying 4 nights on property can we buy six days?

The price has been reported between $10 and $30 per person less than WDW website.

You do need 4 nights on points but can for sure get the 6 day ticket. I wish we could buy a 3 plus 2 because that is what I need for July with our 4 night trip. So still deciding if it makes sense and we do an hour on arrival and depart day.

what happens to the 4 get 2 free days if my reservation changes--say I decide to only stay 3 nights?

I have never seen a ticket taken back I assume if your plans change you’d still be fine as long it’s not the first night.

But never had a special ticket offer that we didn’t use so just my theory.

I called about this tickets a couple days ago. Price total for 4 day+2 ticket was a couple $$ cheaper than a Disney direct 4 day ticket.
MS did verify the reservation I was using it for was a blue-card qualifying reservation (I have both direct and resale points). Never had that come up before.

Can I see the offer and costs without a reservation? I'm logged into the DVC portal and click on tickets and tour and see no way purchase them? Not sure if I'm just being dense

What will happen to the 4+2 tickets if I have to cancel my reservation? Are the date specific? Can I use them after Sept 25, or will the disappear or change to regular 4 day tickets?

You have to call but if you go to the WDW website and price out a 4 day ticket for when you are going, you will get a general idea of price. Many have reported that the actual price seems to be $10 to $20 less per person than what the quote you get via Disney website, But close enough,

What you pay never goes away, but if they are not used by the end date, then the value can be used toward another ticket. But, they will no longer be a 6 day ticket.

For example, if it cost you $450 and you don’t use, you have $450 towards whatever ticket you need.

They are date based as well so if you change your trip, you have to call and change the start date but Disney ticketing or guest services in the park can do it.

You have to call for this offer as MS will verify that the reservation is attached to a contract with direct points (not resale). I was glad that we had made our reservation on the contract attached to our blue card and not the resale one, as DH had made the reservation few months prior to the ticket-deal being released.

I would have had no problem getting it t for a trip in July not on my blue card membership. I didn’t end up doing it because we realized a 3 day hopper for our 4 day trip made more sense vs 4’plus 2 with no hopper.

So, it may be CM dependent but it was not abs issue at all. They could see both my memberships and that I was indeed a blue card holder.

None. Matter of fact I think it’s better to go with Disney since there are things they can do if you need changes for their own tickets.

I want to update my newest experiences. I was able to get ticketing to upgrade tickets I bought elsewhere over the phone this week!

I could not do it online via MDE. The new ticket I have now has that option online because it’s from Disney.

My previous experience was I could only do things in person. Not sure if this is a change in practice or I just had horrible luck...though it happened to me several times before.
