DVC ticket offer- 2 free days.

My florida friend said don’t think you can hop to the studios that night as the studios stays at capacity all day. Can’t get another ADR there, so have to cancel as an ADR does not guarantee entrance. Already don’t like this new system. Plus you can’t modify it, wth. 😂
I was wondering how the hopping feature actually will work. I’ve probably missed something along the way

Seems rather dicey to just show up at a park & hope for the best in the afternoon.

Only reason I’m adding PH for DS is we are staying at BW that trip & it will be food & wine. Will be quite disappointing if it fills to capacity. Had thought an ADR would be a placeholder of sorts, wah.

Just as an FYI-there are no reports of anyone being unable to hop to any park so far with this new system.

since I’m going during spring break and the studios is not available the entire week, I guess this will be a test. I always stay away from Easter weeks, never thought of college spring break.

I was looking on the Disney website and don’t see the promotional price... so you have to actually call and order over the phone? I recall using the website in the past to buy APs and it would register the DVC pricing.. this isn’t the same or am I doing something wrong?

You have to call MS and have a qualifying membership to get them...ie blue card.

Thanks! I guess I’ll have to call... I don’t see a comparable or better deal on the non-Disney site that I have sometimes bought tix from in the past. Do you know if it works for hopper tickets too? Also, if at some point this year they decide to start selling APs again, can I upgrade and apply this cost toward the AP?

Another question... I am a blue cardholder and I wonder why I never got an email with this offer ... and I also didn’t get it as a notification when I log into the DVC website... where did others get the info of this promo?

I got a piece of mail about the ticket promo a few weeks ago. I think it was also in the member newsletter email? You can find it under benefits on the DVC site. I need to call to get tix for our mid-April trip... would much prefer to buy AP, but I need to make park reservations while the dates are still available.

Thank you!! Now I see it- but would never have known that was there if not for this group! I am going to buy now for our June trip and hope I can upgrade to an AP if they start selling them at some point before June trip (though seems unlikely:( )

Ok- so on a 70 minute hold with MS to buy the tickets... can anyone tell me if I can buy hopper tickets and get this deal? Hoping not to wait 70 minutes and find out I can’t get the hoppers...

You can do this online via the MDE app I know for sure. I change the start date of my ticket just this week by a day. It will simply charge you the difference if there is one.

I suspect as well the tickets bought elsewhere are actually easier since they likely are just "6 day tickets" instead of "promo tickets" but not 100%.
Did this as well on my own via MDE in 2019

How much did they end up being, if you don’t mind me asking? Trying to decide if I should pay for some OTU points to add a fourth night-if the money would be worth it.

For the 4 day/2 extra it came to $563 for adult ticket with taxes for hopper ticket end of June. That looks like about $78 per ticket save vs if you just ordered normally on Disney website.

Thanks. That’s about the same price as many discount places for my dates in May, though maybe May is much cheaper than June.

When I look on the discount ticket place I use (not sure if I’m allowed to say the name)- the same ticket I bought for my June date is $600. So I guess I saved $150 for my party of 4 with this deal...

You simply post a link to a business you want to discuss and if it is blocked out with ****, then the filter did it’s job. As long as you do that vs the name, or include hints , you have followed the boards rules.

Does anyone have experience using multiple payment options for the DVC offer? I want to use my Disney Rewards and Disney Visa for payment.

I'm renting DVC points for a 10 night stay this July 25th - Aug 4th. (7 nights at the Boardwalk, and then 3 at the Polynesian).

Am I able to get this offier? Both reservations are linked to my MDE account already and show up.

I was going to purchase 9 day tickets, but it would be awesome if I could buy 7 days and get 2 free.

Thanks.
Dan

This is for DVC owners who have qualified membership. Not all DVC owners are even eligible.

Disney has offered it but you must be a cash guest to qualify, Since you rented, you are not eligible for either deal.
