DVC Survey - New Resorts

I got a letter from DVC inviting me to take an online survey. They questioned various destinations and my level of interest. Then they asked if I would be interested in the following possible DVC resorts and how they would effect my level of member satisfaction:

Los Cabos Mexico
Lake Tahoe
Las Vegas

The only one I gave a favorable response to was Las Vegas. The other 2 I said no effect.

Now for me.. I would live a Lake Tahoe vacation. There is lots to do during the winter and summer.

I read about this survey on a different DVC site. I wouldn't be interested in any of the three. Of course, I'm spoiled having access to both direct and exchange inventory in each of those locations.

I have zero interest in any of the three. I joined DISNEY Vacation Club!!! I could of joined any one of several other time share or vacation programs if I wanted to vacation in Vegas or Mexico.

IMHO, Vegas does not represent the mission of the Disney Corporation at all. I would think that it would be a HUGE tactical mistake for the company.

I would also prefer than a Lake Tahoe resort be located in California instead of Nevada.

However, I do live in the Deep South, and do not see myself traveling to any of these locations anytime soon.

I would love to see locations in Gatlinburg, Asheville NC, Orange Beach AL, Williamsburg VA, etc.

I'd be interested in buying "none of the above". But, I would be interested in staying at all three.

I have to say that as a New Englander I would be much more likely to use my points at one of these three than in Hawaii.

I wonder if they can add Paris as a new DVC location...
We just came back from DLP on a 1 day trip and the DL there is pretty darn amazing. Up to par with DL California and WDW or on some attractions even better. The studios park is pretty sparse but the DL is great.
It would be awesome to be able to use regular # of points over there...

I would not be interested in any of them. Although it would be the only way Las Vegas would interest me!

They seem to be going in too many directions, IMO.

I received the same survey. Again the same 3 choices at the end. In the list of first choices (there were 9) in the beginning of the survey they had the Colorado Rockies, that was my #1 choice.

Disney should consider this concept - DVC Resorts at Disney Park locations. This would include Paris, Tokyo, California (more DVC Villas), and Hong Kong.

I would love to see a resort in Aruba. With the 2 new ships coming into service in the next few years, you could take a cruise to the resort. I would never go to those 3 locations.

It's an exchange, it's not owned by DVC.

I'll second that! We're really interested in going to all the Disney parks some day. Wouldn't it be great to stay in a DVC property? Of course, I wouldn't be interested in buying overseas...just staying there!
