DVC Site Maintenance

I have had this problem since the update two weeks ago. I am still waiting on IT to call me to tell me the issue is resolved. I cannot go to the planning page or update any of my reservations. MS told me to clear my history, cache, cookies. I've done all that and used multiple browsers. They finally had a supervisor check my account to agreed that they are having the same problem. MS even told me that it was my problem because I had so many memberships. It was finally escalated to higher level (LOL, whatever that means). I was told that I would receive a call from IT once the issue has been resolved. This has been over a week now. No call and my membership still cannot be used unless I call. I am now patiently waiting. I finally accepted that it will take time and no longer upset or frustrated. IT system and department at Disney is a fig of our imagination. Disney needs to accept that fairy dust no longer works and actually hire real IT people.

With nothing pressing, I decided to wait a week or two before trying the site post-maintenance . However given all of the issues being posted here and elsewhere over the past several days I’m going to give it another week 😬 If I were to go in and not see my points (or the 4 different room reservations we have booked at BWV for November for a large family trip) I might actually have a heart attack! Feeling thankful I took screenshots of everything.
 
I'm still not able to access modify reservation and trip planning. But I did have the survey pop up. I took advantage of the opportunity!
 

I tried to modify a reservation today online and rather than the 7 dwarves I got stitch ate the page. Called MS and waited on hold 49 minutes of the two hours quoted. Worked with a great CM who got the reservation updated and was off the phone in 59 minutes. The website is a hot mess right now.
 
I finally was able to secure the reservation I wanted at BLT after multiple attempts with google chrome on my phone .

So it seems that a few of us are just having issues with BLT? I’ll forgive this particular website issue if its due to them trying to remove this little bit there…

I finally got thru to Chat. CM told me the reason I'm seeing the dinosaur is because I need to call Member Accounting to clear up some unknown issue with my account. This is the first I've ever heard of something like this. Anyone else hear this about the dreaded dinosaur? I'm on hold with accounting.
 
I've been trying since yesterday morning to log in and modify a reservation. Just needing to add a someone to it. I've been getting the Dino since yesterday. I've tried on three different devices and cleared my cookies, tried chrome and safari and still no luck. I guess I need to give up and call this afternoon. So frustrating.

That would surprise me, greatly. Please let us know if there was an issue with your account. We don't need specifics. FWIW, I think it is more likely the chat CM was making it up. Hope that isn't the case.

I have read before of someone having an issue with dues or a loan. There have been some reports that the loan screens had incorrect information. Maybe your account is one that was impacted? Keep us posted.

Cast member was 100% right and I was 100% wrong. I'd purchased a contract in June and somehow I failed to pay the pro rated dues so, of course, they blocked my access. I feel like a dope. I have no recollection of getting a statement or notice on the website. But I should have been more alert and aware. I paid Member Admin on the phone and now I just have the usual issues with the 7 Dwarves!
 
The site is very unstable. i canceled a reservation and didn’t get my points back. Once I logged out and back in they showed up.

as for IT. I had big issues and MS opened a ticket. After a week, I called IT, not MS. They did find my ticket and gave me the number. They told me there were issues that had to get escalated. Someone did do some work, because I stopped getting timeout errors, but I still get dwarfed when I book, but 95% of the time it goes through. I gave up and just limp by. I can get most of my stuff done. It’s been many months and never heard back. So don’t wait for them to call back, they probably won’t. Don’t call MS, call IT.
