DVC Premium APs, MDE, RDIF

I am trying to make sense of all this but would love some input! My family has paper DVC Premium APs that we used last year. We're going again in two weeks and it doesn't look like our resorts (VWL 10/5 and SSR 10/9-10/14) is participating in the Magic Band testing. Will we need to switch to RFID plastic cards at Guest Relations prior to entering a park? Should I link our paper APs to My Disney Experience? My mother is also going with us and she has a park hopper she used for a few days in June so I think she has a plastic RFID card. Any info/tips are greatly appreciated!!

You will most likely be directed to either a ticket window or guest relations to exchange your tyvek (paper) AP for a RFID AP.

Should I link our paper APs to My Disney Experience?

If you are not eligible for MyMagic+ (MagicBands & FastPass+), there is no advantage to linking your passes to MDE at this time.
