DVC Preferred Seating?

My understanding is DVC members can book preferred seating times up to 6 months in advance, well before the usual 90 day window.

I just called WDW Dine to do this and was told it was not possible.

Question #1: Am I correct, or badly informed?

Question #2: If I am correct, how do I make a preferred seating time? Do I use member services?

I haven't heard about 6 months.

but yes you call MS to make your dinner reservations - and see what they tell you.

You were mis-informed.

As far as I know, being able to book PS times sooner than any other WDW guest has never been a perk/benefit of DVC.


I always just call 407-WDW-Dine myself, especially if i am trying for something tough to get like breakfast at CRT or dinner at V & A's. MS has no special access to the system and opens up well after WDW-Dine does.

DVC gets no special booking privileges. Actually by nature of opening later than the Dining office, you have less a chance at high demand items like Cindy's.
