WOW - can't believe they announced it THIS early. From what I've heard, BLT was nearly done before they acknowledged it was a DVC property. I wonder if it's too ealy to call my guide to get on the wait list for points...

Wow that took me by surprise. I don't think they have file the blueprints with Orange County yet. They have to do that in addition to the ones file with the southwest Foliriday Water District. Don't they?

I was having my first cup of coffee reading the DIS but what to my wandering eyes should appear...the official Poly announcement!!! Oh what a great day it is...time to add a little Kaluha (sp?) to my coffee and start the celebration!!! Yippee!!!

True but the text of the announcement appears to be the same as that used for DVC press releases. Could it be faked? Of course, but I don't think Tim is in the business of "reporting" erroneous information.

If it's true can you imagine the crowds for the monorail when both GFV and POLY-V ( sounds like pauly D from jersey shore) are both opened. I guess they can just add some cars to the monrail

Actually, they can't - the trains will be too long for some of the existing platforms.

Both DVC News (Tim) and Tikiman are extremely reliable folks and work diligently to not share false information. Could the proposed project still be cancelled...sure, nothing is final until opening day!! I know it is coming and cannot wait.

OMG! Was having a really rubbish day....until now!
So, what other details do we know? How many units? When in 2015 it is likely to be open? Is it just converting existing poly rooms or building new ones!?
Can't wait! Thinking a monorail trip with time at BLT, GFV and the poly would be fun!
