DVC owners..how satisfied are you?

There are only my Dw and I and we take a week a year in a studio Sat- Fri with points left over, for a small weekday vacation or bank the points for extra long week next year, so 150 points in a studio for two works out great , but as said ,it depends on your family size.

DINKS here also. Also one of those with the only regret of not purchasing sooner. We originally bought in 2000 and have already added on 3 times. The resorts and rooms available are incredible. I'll take a 1 bdr at any of the resorts over my one stay at the Grand Floridian any day. I have made ressie 11 months several times, 7 months out a couple of times and even as little as 6 weeks out for a trip a couple of years ago. In July this year I spoke to member services to check on my points and they reminded me we had banked 62 points that had to be used by December. That afforded us a 6 night stay in an OKW studio in September that we hadn't even planned on. The flexibility is incredible. That is what I worried the most about, would I be able to visit when I wanted to or maybe sometimes even at the last minute? I have never been disappointed. We have taken family and friends on several occasions and how special it is to share the experience with them. The only problem, waiting until the next vacation. My DH said it best, many people wait for years to take the trip of a lifetime to WDW. We get to do it a couple of times a year.

We are extremely happy with our decision to purchase into the DVC. We love Disney and have visited every year since 1981, always staying on-property. For several years, that meant the Contemporary or the Grand Floridian, the Vacation Villas or Fort Wilderness. Then we began to switch over to the moderates in order to save some money on accommodations. When we learned about the DVC, it sounded like a great deal and we took a month or two to think it over. Back in 1991, when we purchased at OKW, there was an incentive to buy with free park passes through 2000. That closed the deal for us and we have never looked back. It is sometimes difficult to get everyone on the same page with regards to vacation dates and who is bringing whom so that we have the right size accommodations, but that is a small matter. We enjoy every minute of our stays at WDW and highly recommend the DVC.
