DVC online requests

I have just made a reservation request online via the DVC website, disapointed to see the auto response telling me they will get back to me in 3 days or so. Anybody got experience with the system? How quick did they get back to you?

It will depend on how busy they are. Ive received news on the same day that I made the reservation.

I sent first thing on a sunday morning received email around 9:30pm mind that it will be 4:30 USA time so still time for you to receive email.

As I live in Europe, I often send the mail form for a booking request while MS is closed. They usually come back to me as soon as they open.

I give them 3 resort preferences and sometimes they come back with something that fit my request. Other times they told me they had no availability for what I asked but had something else and should call them if I want it.

Of course if I do timecritical reservation at 11 or 7 month, then I call anyway. But for some in-between reservation I found the email booking request quite useful.

They took a full 3 days to respond, positive is we got our first choice- 1 bed Savannah view in Kidani for two weeks from the 26th Oct! So its off to book the flights and car hire now! Will probably not use the online system again, its quicker and just as easy to call. Would re consider if they launch a 'live reservation system'

I tried this a few weeks back, my reservation was declined as booking 2 rooms and as I'm staying in both rooms I have to ring up, according to reply.

until it links directly into the live system I think I'll keep on ringing up - I don't want to wait three days when booking something.

So pleased that you got the reservation you wanted. Remember that it will all depend on how busy they are to repond to your request. I received our last one the same day.
