DVC Merry Mixer Question?

Has anyone every been to the DVC Merry Mixer at Epcot? I saw where the dates for 2016 were released this week and we will be arriving the day after Thanksgiving, which is the first mixer. I was not sure what times the Mixer starts and ends. We are getting to Orlando around 11 and thinking about trying to make it to the Mixer that day, because we definitely cannot go the next Friday.

Any help, guidance, or insight would be greatly appreciated!!

I believe in prior years, the event ran from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Last year, I recall it started at 3pm. If you do go- get there EARLY. The line to get in builds quickly. We waited for about 45 minutes in line before it opened, and had a GREAT time!

I actually would wait and go at 4:00 or so. The initial line is very long but gets shorter once the opening surge is over.

Whatever day I went last year, we got in the queue around 4 and it took 15 minutes to get in.

1st week in Dec. We were watching Christmas show at Canada lumber jack stage at app 4 pm and the line for the mixer was well past the stage and was lining up past Canada pavilion steps and was moving very slow We had walked past the mixer entrance at app 2pm and the line was up to the lumber jack stage already at that time.

If you want to buy limited edition DVC merchandise, get there very early and stand in line to get int at open. The limited edition Merch. will sell out. If you don't care about that, you can probably wait until after doors open the initial flood of people are in and through. Meet and greet lines will be long as well. If you just want a quick flyover to grab a free treat, then showing up anytime is fine.

What sort of limited edition merchandise do they usually sell? This will be our first year....
