Before we bought DVC, we were going to WDW about every 9 months... which is why we bought DVC. Since we purchased, we made three trips the first year (we had double points), made two trips the second year, and have made one trip so far this year with another planned for October. On the other hand, we're probably going to take a year off next year and cruise instead. We'll do one trip at most, and possibly not even that.
I suspect we'll continue to do a trip or two most years. We really enjoy going with friends and family, so we like getting a two bedroom, and to do two trips a year in a two bedroom, we really need a few more points. We really like to travel, not just visit WDW, so most years we try to do at least one other trip somewhere.
