I am waiting for closing presently, my question is I also have Hilton vacation club
If I trade into Dvc with rci can I use my Dvc card for the perks
I've been grandfathered in

It depends. Certain perks, like access to TOWL and pool-hopping, require that you be staying on DVC points, and have a DVC member card. For discounts in shops and restaurants, the card would be all you need.

Now, if they'd notice or care about the fact that you're staying DVC on an RCI trade, since you'll have a magic band and a member card, I can't say.

TOTWL requires that you be staying onsite, not on points.

If I am staying at Disney for a trip I paid for like french quarter can I got to TOTWL?

If you are a DVC member and staying anywhere on site, you can access the TOTWL with the exception of four blockout dates, 7/3, 7/4, 12/30, and 12/31.

Cool that is what I thought. We are staying at FQ this fall and thought we would stop by TOTWL to check it out and maybe watch the fireworks.
