DVC Member DS Discount??

I was just reading that some of you have gotten a discount at the DS with your DVC. When did this all happen and how much is the discount? Do you just show your card? I was also reading about the AP discounts. I have been a member for 2 years and never get any updates or info like this. Am I mising something? Anything else I should know????

As a DVC member, we get all sorts of discounts, the newest to come is the AP and PAP discount to begin 1/2/05. We have always gotten a Disney Store discount since I became a member in '97. With the sale of the Disney Store, I think we will still be getting a discount.

Usually the Vacation Magic will list information about discounts. Plus when you check in using your points, you will get Portable Perks which tell you all the discounts you get at WDW (food and entertainment, mostly).

If you check out the DVC Member website, you can find out all the discount info. You'll need a PIN and password to get in. You get that from MS.

You will still get your discount (10%) at new Disney Store. Just show your card.
