Good to know in case I find a contract I like! Thanks!I just bought through them (105 pts VGF) over the past two months. The resale process was efficient - initial offer to closing was barely 6 weeks and I have no complaints now that it is all done. Nonetheless, their communication was very poor - almost nonexistent. I emailed them twice with questions and did receive very prompt answers. Without my inquiries, I suspect I would have heard nothing. I understood the process and was comfortable with their style. If this will drive you crazy, I'd consider using someone else.
Yes, I'm aware of that thread... it's the one I referenced in my original post.
Well, I read it last week when I first started researching DVC Magic Resales. Sorry to have irritated you by starting a new thread. Have a Magical Day!If you checked it out, you would notice that there are recent experiences referenced on it. As recently as Sunday and Monday of this week. Worth reading the bottom few posts for the sort of feedback you are looking for.
I don't see the need to start a whole new thread with the same title when exactly what you are looking for can be found just a few posts down.

Check Vacatia, I bet the same listing is on their site as well. If you are concerned you might want to try through Vacatia instead.Anyone with any recent experience with DVC Magic Resales? They have a contact I'm interested in, but I read on these boards back in August that some folks were experiencing communication issues with them. Wondering if that got any better or not?
I would not recommend DVC Magic Resales We placed our bid just before April 11, 2018.
It took until July 21, 2018. We did not receive the documentation until July 27, 2018. This may cost us 200 points. Because of the slow response and many delayed or unreturned phone calls. The current year points could not be banked as we past the banking date ( May 31) If your not in a hurry and are okay with slow/poor service...
Not me. Wish be luck trying to get these points rented out.
Talk to Davids. They will get you more than $3/pt.Unfortunately, I also couldn't recommend them. We had 2 contracts with them, one closed and the other the seller backed out (which isn't really their fault). As others mentioned, they are very slow to respond and have absolutely no communication unless you initiate first (and then wait for your response to come a few days later). One agent I initially worked with wouldn't even get back to me on the status of an offer. (I found out it went pending on their website a few days later - not to my offer.) Common courtesy would be at least to drop an email "seller took another offer." But I did call and got another agent who got me a great contract (UY, points, price) so I went with them. Even still, we had to spend 6 weeks in ROFR because 2 addedums needed to be made to correct several mistakes on the contract, including less points than we initially thought were banked and some expiring points. With this said, we got a great price per point so going forward, we'll be enjoying our contract for 3 months of headache.
Good luck! I just closed on our Dec UY contract with points expiring 11/30 and I'm having difficulty renting them out. Someone offered me $3pp.
Not that I'm defending the long delay for closing, but had you gone with any of the other agencies, chances are very good that you would not have closed and had DVC process the change in ownership by the banking deadline. For future purchases, and for anyone who finds themselves purchasing resale so close to a banking deadline, it would not be a bad idea to have the seller bank the points as a part of the sales agreement.I would not recommend DVC Magic Resales We placed our bid just before April 11, 2018.

When you account is up and the points are in the account, call member services and explain that you just bought the contract, and that due to delays by the seller, you're past the banking deadline. When I did this, months past the banking deadline, they graciously banked all the current year points for me.
I just bought with them as well. Communication was fine. My contact was prompt in emailing me back. We put in an offer on June 26 and we closed last Wednesday or Thursday.Anyone with any recent experience with DVC Magic Resales?
