DVC Luggage Tags

Hi there:

I know at one point I had come across DVC Luggage Tags on ebay. I am wondering where people had gotten them from???????????????????????? They weren't the ones that I have seen in the shops. (Just your basic travel tag, with a rubber band sort of loop to attach it to the luggage).

I was given mine on a DCL cruise.

I saw them at the DVC resort's mercantile... These were good sized, although I thought they were a bit pricey at $10-$12 per tag.

We bought ours when we stayed at the BCV last December in the gift shop. I think I saw them at the BWV in April also.

I had seen the ones in the gift shop at OKW. The ones I had seen on Ebay are more like the free ones when you book with Disney. I'm going on the cruise next June. Guess I'll cross my fingers about getting some then, unless I come across another pair on Ebay. Did you book your cruise on DVC points??? I'm paying cash and using points before the cruise at BCV and after the cruise at VERO.

I saw them at the DVC resort's mercantile... These were good sized, although I thought they were a bit pricey at $10-$12 per tag.

That's actually a good deal. We have 6 of them and they cost about $1,000.00 a piece. DVC gave one to each of us as a "free" gift on our cruise .

I just bought a pair on eBay for just under $10 and it included a SSR pin. Sorry if I beat you out.

In Sept. we recieved 2 as a free gift, when my DH and I went over to SSR for the open house. These might be the cheep ones though. I put them in a "safe" place to use on the next trip, but of course I can't find them now. Oh well I have 11 more weeks to try and find them before our HHI vacation.

Just bought two over Memorial Day Weekend at SSR. They're made of flexible rubber, are white and in blue lettering say "Disney Vacation Club Member". The center is the raised oval shaped globe with palm trees, water, and a yellow Mickey head peaking out from behind two mountain peaks.

They were $6.00 each.

They are at all the dvc resorts and they are $6.00 each. we bought 2 at christmas and 4 at easter. they do go fast and i do want to point out that disney puts the price sticker right on the clear plastic and it is very hard to get all that sticky stuff off.

I believe they were given to us on the Magic - perhaps one of the DVC meets.

I got mine at DVC OKW and they were only $5 each. Bought 6.

Thanks for all of your responses. I was trying to bid on the "cheapy" ones on E-bay, but now that I know they only run about $6.00 for the better ones I think I'll wait until our next trip and hope to find them at the BCW. I have a friend going to OKW in August so if I decide I can't wait I can have them look for them.
And then of course I can hope I get those good $1,000 ones on our Cruise.
Is it only me, or do some of you get on a hunt for something and just can't quit until it's found????? Crazy.....

A quick suggestion to get the "sticky stuff" off of the tage, use nail polish remover. It always removes the glue when I have sticky stuff on windows or something that won't lose it color.
