DVC limits points being borrowed to 50% of the contract

I just read this restriction on the website. I just became a member again on resale for an upcoming vacation and calculated the amount of points I bought based on borrowing from 2022...do you think they will adjust the policy soon?

As of right now, we have no clue on how long this will last. It could be 6 months, a year or 5. I’m hoping we get an update soon once things open back up.

As mentioned, we don’t know how long it will be in effect but I suspect it will be in place for reservations made for the next 9 months to a year,

It is one way of helping with availability issues created by the closure.

And that is probably why they didn't offer first contracts less than 150 points in the early days of DVC. I think it was 220 points then reduced to 150. So you could get a week or longer.

Original direct buy in for OKW was 230 points.
