DVC in Feb 2007

Hello all. I'm waiting for my BCV contract to close. Because it's not official yet, I'm not able to make reservations. I recently found out my wife is pregnant with our first She is due in early July and we have a Feb use year. We don't want to travel to Disney any later than March 2007 due to the pregnancy. With the little one, we won't be going in 2008 so banking 2007 pts isn't an option. We are thinking about going in Feb. Just curious if anyone is waitlisted or can't get reservations for a Studio at BCV or any of the DVC resorts. Looking at the week of Feb 11th or 18th for 7 nigths. Any info is greatly appreciated.

My first question would be if you bought resale or thru Disney?
If resale..yes it will take a while to close. If Disney...my pts. were available almost immediately after the deposit was charged...call your guide , explain, and it will happen for you.

Feb is Dream and Magic season and you should be OK making short notice ressies. BCV has 208 units...Good Luck and congratulations on your "new" arrival!!

You'll probably have better luck with the 11th because the 18th is part of President's Day weekend and is pretty much booked up. I have a ressie at WLV for Feb. 3 and tried to change it to the week before (late January) and nothing was left except SSR and OKW for a studio. Of course, there are cancelations all of the time, so who knows, you may get lucky. Just have a back up plan of where you want to stay if your first and second choices are not available.
