DVC guide question

We have a guide, but they have given us incorrect information regarding the welcome home $1000 incentive and regarding splitting a 200 point contract into two 100 point contracts -they said we can do neither of those. In fact I found out from another guide along with this forum as well as other communities, that those are in fact false. What is the best way to go about proving this to our guide so that we have all the information from them in front of us correct? I thought about just moving on to a new guide, but then I wondered would they see us in the system one day and I would feel bad about that.😬
 
I would just call someone else's guide if you're not happy.... There have been many on the forums that people love. This will be a person who has a major impact on your life for years to come. If you're not happy, find a different one.

I doubt that informing your guide they don't do their job correctly will improve how they relate to you.

I agree with Cfabar1. Ask for other owners' recommendations and contact another guide.
 

Call DVC and ask them to give you a different guide as you are not happy with the one that you have. Since we do not allow owners at this time to offer themselves up as referrals for new buyers, which could be including a guide recommendcation. I am going to close this so it doesn't become that.
