I emailed Terri recently about purchasing APs. Got a response less than a day later. It was friendly and indicated that with vax going up and cases gong down, they are anxious to begin selling them again but she gave no indication of when that will happen other than if the great momentum continues it will be sooner rather than later.

I received a reply from Terri Shultz this morning. Long story short, she said APs are coming back but she doesn’t know exactly when. I was very satisfied with the answer and appreciate that she was very swift with her response, so props to her.

I think with the current changes WDW has been allowed to make, I think it’s not longer a long shot dream!

The more people they can get in the parks, the more likely they can allow AP holders in with more than just 3 park days reserved at a time!

My experience from yesterday morning was , that I called the AP line and it took about 30 minutes to talk to somebody. That person looked up our information and at first she was going by our expiration date of December 2020 ,and then she found the ones that just expired this month with the extension.

She was going to sell me new Gold ones for $765.74, after I told her that our next trip was scheduled for January 2022, but when I was ready to pay, she told me to call DVC.

I called DVC and waited almost and hour, at the end, I was told that I could only renew, but I could call the AP line to ask for the new ones, that only they could do it

I called back the AP line and after about and hour and after asking for a supervisor to clear up all this craziness , I was sold the new Gold APs. I was told by the supervisor, that technically, I was only supposed to be able to renew, but because of all the fiasco , he was going to sell them to me!

He also mentioned that they have people working on this, that don't work for them, and that's why there's so much confusion.

Call me hopeful but our trip starts 7/5 and I too am hoping for APs but please release them sooner rather then later. We have another trip tentatively planned for 6/2022 and I would totally lengthen it if we in fact had APs

No and has black out dates mid December until January and then again around Easter.

You have to step up to Platinum Plus for that, which I believe was $999 at the discounted price.

What if the Gold Pass was offered to resale members in a one time event?

I think that would bring in a pretty big amount of cash to WDW. Heck there could be stipulations like use it or lose it, can't put towards platinum, etc. etc..

What will bring in a boat load of cash is for everyone to have to buy day tickets to satisfy the pent-up demand for people wanting to go to WDW. Also selling AP to resale owners kind of defeats one of the reasons DVC uses to encourage direct sales.

Same as for an adult. Child and adult prices for APs have been the same for several years now.

I renewed my annual gold pass that was expiring June 2021 over the phone with DVC member services. I am a fairly new DVC Member and this new to me. Do they mail me a new card? Or?
