My experience from yesterday morning was , that I called the AP line and it took about 30 minutes to talk to somebody. That person looked up our information and at first she was going by our expiration date of December 2020 ,and then she found the ones that just expired this month with the extension.
She was going to sell me new Gold ones for $765.74, after I told her that our next trip was scheduled for January 2022, but when I was ready to pay, she told me to call
DVC.
I called DVC and waited almost and hour, at the end, I was told that I could only renew, but I could call the AP line to ask for the new ones, that only they could do it
I called back the AP line and after about and hour and after asking for a supervisor to clear up all this craziness , I was sold the new Gold APs. I was told by the supervisor, that technically, I was only supposed to be able to renew, but because of all the fiasco , he was going to sell them to me!
He also mentioned that they have people working on this, that don't work for them, and that's why there's so much confusion.
