DVC benefits

Hi all,

Just curious- if I was to stay at a Disney Hotel would I still get DVC benefits like free wii fi or does that only count if I am in a Villa.

Trying to book a last minute vacation but no villas are available.

No, most of the DVC benefits like free internet (not wi-fi) and pool hopping require a points stay at a DVC resort through MS.

You can still get most of the dining, shopping and recreation discounts, no matter where you stay. Just show the blue DVC member card.

You do not get free wifi, even at a WDW DVC Villa, it is wired internet access. And no, the internet is not free in standard Disney cash rooms.

At DLR hotels internet access and other ammenities are included in the $17 per day resort fee which is included at no extra charge when you book the hotel rooms with points.... not sure about WDW as I've never used points for a non DVC stay there.
