Leaving in 3 days... my "tree donation family" never came back to confirm/respond after volunteering. So it looks like SSR tree #3 doesn't really exist.

Did you try PMing them? I donated a tree, and I almost didn't confirm with wdwstar since she didn't need my real name, so maybe they are thinking the same thing. I hope you get your tree!

Yes, from what I understand wdwstar tried pm'ing them multiple times. The poster only has a very small post count (like under 10) and has only been on once in the past several months and that was to "volunteer" their tree.

I was one of the very first to request SSR tree...and was originally on tree #1 (which still exists) but somehow got switched to tree #3 and now that doesn't exist.

Obviously this is not wdwstar's fault...he/she works off of others "volunteering" their tree and does the best possible. I just am bummed that whomever volunteered didn't realize that by not coming back...they took the opportunity away from the other families on their list.

Again - I'll live...I'm still going to be in DISNEY but we had made a tradition of this over the past 4 years...having a 'dvc tree' every year, this will be our first year without. Hmmm... maybe I'll have to see if I can find a cheap tree to bring with us....

That's really too bad...you have a good attitude about it but I understand your disappointment. It sounds like everyone on your tree list will be in the same position, so if you do decide to find a cheap tree to bring perhaps you could be the 'donator' and then have it shipped back to you by the last family.
Whatever you decide, I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Just wanted to post a big THANK YOU to wdwstar for organizing this again. This is our second year in the swap - we had a tree at BLT from 11/20 - 11/25 and it was awesome.

Sad our trip is over. We likely won't be going next year so I guess that just means I have 2 years to plan the next one!

I will be donating a tree again for Animals Kingdoms Kidani Village.

We will be arriving Nov. 27, departing Dec. 1.

Of course, if it's needed before our trip I will ship it earlier.

We are so excited to be part of your tree exchange!! We arrive Dec 17th and I would love to do something special - do you have a picture of the tree or exactly how it is themed? Thank you again for your generosity - we can't wait to be a part of it!!!!!

Hi Wdwstar, I know Im late to the party, but if there is anything I can do to help, let me know. I needed to repair the AKV tree this year, so did not donate, but I am checking into BLT on 12/7 and can bring a small tree with me that I have if you need to add a tree to the rotation.

I can have Bell Services deliver to whatever resort.

I'll be in WDW for the Condo meeting and just hanging out for 3 days so no trouble at all.

Is there a Bell Services at Bay Lake or do you have to go to Contemporary? Glad you enjoyed the tree. Let's hope Bell Services can find it again this week after it sitting in their possession for almost a week.

No Bell Services at BLT. Actually pretty much nothing but a TOTWL Check in Desk, Community Hall and Rooms at BLT. Bell Services is in the Contemporary... right by where you check in (you check in for BLT at the Contemporary BTW). Hopefully they have it. I meant to get the gentleman's name who helped me with it - all I remember is that he has worked at Disney for like 40 years so that should help narrow it down!

vickie611, and the Families on Bcv Tree #1, the tree is missing while being shipped down to the BCV. I sent another tree down yesterday, it will take three days to arrive, it should be there by Wed/Thur Dec. 1/2. Im sorry for the delay it will take for the new tree to get there. The tree is address to all that are on the tree list. Happy Holidays!
