In my PM you said VWL tree #3, but I was supposed to be #4...do you just mean that since I am the only person on the list for our tree, it is optional? If so, I will just bring a "mini" tree in our suitcase...

wdwstar - Can I assume since our tree donation family didn't confirm (or respond since) that we do not have a tree? It's not the end of the world I would just like to make sure i don't have my kids expecting a tree only to arrive and find out it doesn't exist. Let me know either way...thanks very much!

Boardwalk Tree #2 shipped today

Boy, that Thanksgiving holiday really wreaked havoc with expected delivery dates; but I got the tree on it's way today.

If anyone is staying at the Boardwalk between 12/6 and 12/16, please PM me and we'll do our best to include you.

VWL #2 tree shipped today! Arriving Monday 11/22. Total cost w/ $100 insurance was $21.60 from UPS Store.

Yep. I hope they all make it there alright!

I hope the box doesn't get lost over the busy weekend. If they have to look for it for you, it has the list of names on the four sides of the box. The paper with the list has a colorful Christmas light border. Hopefully, that will help distinguish it. The address label has your name and check-in date on it.

Here's a question for people that have taken part in the tree exchange before... My parents are VERY excited that our waitlist came through to stay at VWL (as am I!!!) I never mentioned to them that I am getting the tree - I wanted it to be a surprise. Is there any way to get it put in the room so that when we check in, (which will be late at night) it will be in there? Even if the box is there - I could always make them wait in the hall, run in, plug it in, etc. Just trying to think of a fun holiday surprise If we pick it up when we check in, they'll be able to figure it out. And if not - no biggie! Getting to stay at VWL has REALLY amped up my Christmas mood

I'm bummed now! I originally had my pick up date as the 4th - my check-in date. Now, my pick up date is the 5th - which we'll be at MK then MVMCP all day. I won't be able to get my tree on the 5th because we leave first thing in the morning (bfast ADR) we won't be back in our room until well after midnight. I can't get the tree until the 6th now. I signed up for the tree on the very first day first thing in the morning and had my pick up date on the 4th until yesterday. I don't want to sound unappreciative because I understand how much work it is to put this kind of stuff together. I just don't understand why my pick up date changed to a day later - which conflicts with all the plans we've made since we signed up for the tree.

I just sent you a PM - but the tree will be waiting for you!! Our plans changed and we are now checking out of Kidani on the 3rd - I hope you like the tree!
