DVC 8th year Christmas Tree, Sharing a Little DVC Holiday Magic

katierich13, Im sorry the tree does not exist, the family that promise to donate never confirm, even after several pms to them. I know they were on the disboard several times after my pms but still nothing. I did pm you a head of time to switch you to another tree but i never heard back from you.

I left you a message on you visitor board. I wanted to find out if we were too late to borrow a tree for our visit at AKL Dec 19-24. I didn't know how often you check there so I figured I would leave a message here for you.

We just got home from a wonderful holiday stay at the Wilderness Lodge

Happy to Report that Tree #1 was pass on to us in great shape and re packed all ready for the next family.
The front desk and bell service was very interested and familiar with the Tree Swap as they call it.
One of them actually told us that the also do the same thing with some small strollers.

Happy and safe travels to all heading down to the world and Merry Christmas

Just got back from our trip and your tree was wonderful! All the extra touches were much appreciated! I had been wishing we had balcony lights once I saw all the other balconies at BLT and SURPRISE!!! They were in there.

Then my husband was saying how we would need an extension cord and there were 2!!!

Thank you so much for organizing this and all the extra things you did with your tree. I could tell you knew what you were doing and did it right!

The bellmen at CR/BLT were also very interested in what was in that box. And seemed excited about it once I explained it

Thank you jejojual! Kidani finally located the tree (after asking about it 3 times) so we had it in our room by late Sunday night. It was a beautiful tree! Thanks so much for the gift and ornament. We put something on the tree for you with a note - hope it makes it back to you. I hope the next people on the list were able to get the tree from bell services. We gave them instructions as you did for us.

Thank you wdwstar for organizing all of this. It was wonderful and helped make our visit even more special. My Dad lives about an hour from WDW so he came to stay with us for a few nights and we celebrated Christmas with him (opened presents). It was so nice to have a tree to leave the gifts under and exchange next to.

That's OK, I totally understand. We were late planning this year and I only found out about the tree sharing a few weeks ago, I just thought I would ask. Maybe next year we can participate. I think we are going to go ahead and book for next Thanksgiving so maybe we can bring one down with us.

On the BLT tree, we were to pick ours up today (on the 22nd) and DH just went to the Contemporary and was told that the tree wasn't there. Anyone have any update on the status of this tree? Thank you!

We were too late to get in the tree sharing but are bringing a tree down with us on our Dec 24th to Dec. 30th trip. We are not bringing it home with us, rather I was going to leave it in the recycle room with an "up for grabs" sign on it. We'll be at the BWV so if anyone would like a 4ft. tree let me know! Sorry, lights and decor not included.

Just checking in while I had some quiet time.

Boardwalk Tree #1 was received with no problems. It looks beautiful in our room! Enjoying the tree, the lights, and of course all the decorations in the resort and the parks. Went to MVMCP Sunday night, Candlelight Processional Monday night, Ice! on Tuesday, and the Wishes dessert party tonight. Busy week, the parks are crowded but manageable, and we're having a great time!

Any news on the BLT #2 tree? I know it was there when we dropped it off at Bell Services when we left on the 9th. and they knew exactly what it was.

Went to the BCV to pick up tree #1. no sign of the tree, but the bell service was very pleasant and said they would keep looking for the tree. That was 3 days ago. No tree for christmas, but I had family and that is all the Magic i needed for christmas
