DVC 6th year Christmas Tree, Sharing a Little DVC Holiday Magic

Hey guys!! I shipped tree #4 for OKW and BWV today. It should arrive the beginning of next week. I enclosed a prepaid label with instructions for return shipping. Call me if you need anything. (I enclosed a phone number).

Loving the trees! Can't wait to see what ours looks like!!! Hopefully someone posts a pictures before I get there.

I will ask my husband to post a picture once we get the tree up. Can't make any promises, but we'll try. We will ship BCV tree #2 out this weekend. I'll post to let everyone know for sure that it has been shipped. Can't wait to see it down there!

This is the box that tree will be in. We are carrying with us, so it will be there when we leave. Once we get it set up we will post a picture.

Just to let you and the other VWL #1 tree people know to look for one brown box, it is 12" x 12" X 40" tall. It has labels on 4 sides as well as the list of DVC families sharing, should be easy to find. I will post when it has arrived it should be there 11/25/08.

You should not need anything, past members are shocked as to how much stuff I was able to pack into the one box. There are plenty on extensions cords and lights and more. I hope the tree makes the vacation even more magical for your family and the other DVC families.

P.S. - Wdwstar thanks for putting this together again this year and for all your hard work in keeping up with all the tree sharing.

ps. Last families on the tree lists dont forget to use the donations or pre paid shipping label to ship the trees back. We want all our donated trees to make it back home safe for the 2009 Share alittle Magical Christmas Trees for Dvc Families to Dvc Families.

If you find a pre paid shipping label inside the tree box please leave the donations inside the tree box when shipping the tree to help with the shipping and make sure the tree box is taped up really good.

We had Jim's tree last year and he's not lying! I couldn't believe how much stuff was in that box!!

This is our first year to be away from home and I was fortunate enough to find out about this fabulous tree swap. I personally want to thank each and every one of you for the time and effort placed to make this magic come to life. We can't wait to get there (and get away from this cold, damp weather) and to take part in this wonderful experience. We feel truly blessed to have so many fellow dissers who love the entire experience as much as we do and I can't wait to see our first tree that we are trusting entirely to all of you wonderful folks.

Has been shipped today by FedEx...

can you believe that they charge an extra $3. dollars for a gas charge, anyone else have that done to them....UPS is doing it too, from PA anyhow...

cost was $21. one way..... but well worth it

Now I have to pack for my trip and I am trying to do it with just take-ons, do not want to pay the fee for the luggage this should be interesting....

That is awesome! Ours was 15lbs but 29lbs billable because of size....36x14x11. Enjoy your upcoming trip!!

This is a new tree. Had to retire the old one. The tree was still in good shape, but the box was frazzled. Tried to find a new box, but all the cardboard boxes that were out there wouldnt fit or werent substantial enough to hold up to shipping.
