DVC 6th year Christmas Tree, Sharing a Little DVC Holiday Magic

Decorating will be fun actually. I hope we have room in the Studio to store the boxes. We had a one bedroom before, so had lots of space.

A table top size should fit on top of the TV console and be out of the way-at least that was what I thought. You could hang stockings from the edge of the console for santa:

If you look at my larger box, you will see it's TWO of the smaller boxes one over the other one to get the lenght I needed. HTH

I just got my box from u-haul, it was a lamp box, just the right size for everything..... and the cost for the thick box was under $6. should last for a few trips.....I will be sending my down about a week before I get there, since I am the first to use it and then will pass it on....

UPS tracking says that the boxes for BWV#2 arrived today at 11:15 am we are waiting for Maribell to confirm the arrival.

We just got it delivered to our room at SSR. Thanks so much to the sender! You really made our kiddos day! They are so happy for the tree and package! What a sweet thing.. you made our trip even more special!

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that SSR tree #4 will be going out on Wednesday, Nov. 19th to allow for plenty of time for Clarabellecowfan's arrival on 11/28/2008! Not sure if one box or two but most likely two with pre-printed return labels. We have a mickey wreath with suction hanger for the window that we are sending along with the tree! This is fun and is helping to teach my only child dd8 that even grownups share!

I just saw this thread and wanted to say Thank You to WDWSTAR for organizing the tree swap and to LAURABEARZ for providing the tree that we shared last year.

We so enjoyed having the tree in our room, lights on our balcony and a big stocking hung on our door. What a way to celebrate the holidays!

To all of you going to the World during this holiday season, I am green with envy, but wish every one of you the best Christmas ever!

Hooooray! We are so excited and thankful to be a part of the tree swap this year. Thank you so much for donating the tree. The wreath sounds fun - can't wait to see it. Does the tree need any extra ornaments or a skirt?

We are actually arriving on 11/27 but shhhhhhhhh don't tell the kids. DD14 thinks we are leaving on 11/30 and DD10 thinks we aren't going back to WDW until Spring Break!

ROBANDKELLY13 dEC. 18-27 would like a Christmas delivery of the tree, so they can have Christmas night and the next two days w/ a tree, let us know how we would coordinate that.

To Clarabelle and DVCmommy- no problem! We are having fun with this! Clarabelle- I will put your name on the box as arriving on the 27th- What a great Thanksgiving! We surprised our dd8 in 2006 with the trip...she had no idea. I will pm WDWstar to see if anyone wants the tree after DVCmommy!

The tree is pretty decorated, but you will probably have to fluff a little when taking out of the box!

I just saw a picture of the Beach Club Villas Tree #1 and it is so perfect for the Beach Club theming. The tree we had last year at the WLV was also a perfect Wilderness Lodge tree. So much thought and effort goes into these trees that I just can't find the words to thank everyone. Looking forward to setting up ours at the WLV in 12 days and can't wait. Thanks again to wdwstar for all the organizing and to all the tree donators. Merry Christmas!!!

Does anyone know if I would have access to UPS while onsite at VWL? Can a CM help out? I am able to get a free postage paid label to ship back our tree but it has to be UPS. We won't have a car either.

Just leave it at the front desk and tell them it needs to be sent out and it already has a label on it. We do it all the time when we ship boxes down to WDW and then ship them back at the end of our trip.

Tinkerbellcrafter - I LOVE THAT TREE! It is so beautiful. I can't wait to see it in person. I showed it to DH and he is just in awe that swaps like this exist. We are VERY grateful to be a part of this one.
