DVC 6th year Christmas Tree, Sharing a Little DVC Holiday Magic

I took pictures of the steps when we unpacked so I could remember how it came out... but I still stressed that I wouldn't get it all back in it!

We're always in a 2 bedroom and it was nice having all that extra stuff... we knew our balcony b/c it was the only one lit up with lights.. our door was the only one with a decoration on it.

It was very nice, and I'm so excited b/c this year we'll actually be there at Christmas!

Last year we got strange looks b/c it was only Thanksgiving

Shhh, your going to give away to much about the tree box, lol.

I guess I will have to provide a re-packing diagram for next year. I hope you didnt stress too much and glad you enjoyed the tree last year.

My tree box did not start out with all that stuff but after people shared that stay in a 2-bedroom the lights and items grew for the tree box.

Hello all,
Just wanted to report that BWV Tree #2 arrived safely and spread some holiday cheer in our room. Thanks to both Bopsmom and Robmags for donating the tree and ornaments. We added a couple small surprises to the box for everyone to enjoy. Thanks again for spreading the holiday magic! Enjoy!

P.S. - Quicklabs....I left the tree at the registration desk and had them make a note in your reservation. Hopefully they will have the two boxes ready for you when you arrive! Enjoy your trip!

Hi Kitsch4,

I found the zip code for Akron Ohio. I plugged in the info of 20 lbs, 6"x6"x36" box shipped out today using Fed-Ex ground and it would arrive in end of the day in 3 business days for $12.76. I put in Monday and and to get it there by 11/28/08 it would be $40.73. You go to the Fed-Ex website and enter the information.

When we dropped off SSR Tree #4, the lady at our UPS store told us they shipped a 6 foot live tree last year. They had to wrap it & pack it!! That must've been fun to watch!!

What a Holiday Treat to pick up a "large box" at check in.
We had a long travel day due to flight delays which can make you very tired and grumpy but the excitement in opening that box quickly changed the mood. It truly felt like Christmas. GREAT JOB MMMCQ more goodies then we could of asked for DH was so suprised. We are still waiting for our girls to arrive they just boarded the plane after 4+hours at the airport they should arrive here about 1AM. I can't wait to surprise them.

Thanks for giving VWL tree #1 a great big WELCOME HOME. I dont think you will need any lights for the balcony to save some room for the crocs.

I have pretty much everything covered, but if you think of something just put a note in the notebook and I will add it for next year.
