DVC 200 pt Club or below........

174 at BWV bought in June 2000...

Perfect number of points for us to use at our WDW or other wonderful spots around the county.

Without DVC, we never would have been able to stay 5 blocks from the White House :)

150 points are great for us - NO envy. We're 2 adults and since we have to fly to MCO, we only go 2 out of 3 years (for 10 days to 2 weeks each trip). With banking/borrowing we've been able to book studios/1-br./2-br. without any problems. Not too sure what we'd do with more points. The only reason we didn't buy DVC when we first looked was because of the (then) 230 pt minimum - more than we needed.

150 at SSR-woo hoo!!!!!! Ten days in August in a studio is pretty darn good!!!

150 ssr points

sept 04 12 nights in ssr studio

may 05 DCL 3 nights 5 nights BWV

but then we're out of points until feb(use year) 07 but I've already mapped out 5 more vacations by 2011
there's always adding on too
:teeth:

:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: 200 points BWV 2000. Hubby wanted to check out DVC on his last visit in '94 but I nixed the idea figuring it would be too expensive for us; I'm kicking myself about it. He passed away 6 years later and that last trip to Disney was our last vacation as a family.

I purchased the time share to help the boys and I to get away when we needed to and thank goodness I did, we love our trips to the World. I thought 200 points would be enough for the boys and I to go twice a year in a studio; not realizing everyone in our families would want to join us.

I've had to borrow for just about every visit so far and only staying 5 or 6 nights and always hate going home. Wish I had bought more points but will definately add on.

I've found out that the kids never want to be left home; now 19 & 15, I thought the day would come when they would rather not go but I've been meeting people at work in their 30s who won't get married in fear that Daddy won't take them along on their next DW trip. It's fine with me to take them forever; unfortunately they'll be wanting to go and leave me home...

Shan,

Great Wedding Anniversary!!!! What number is this? Happy Wedding Anniversary in advance.

Mitros,

Thanks, DH took this picture on our last trip. We were on the 4th floor facing Whispering Canyon. He used the night shot mode. He leaned the camera up against one of the lodge logs to steady the camera. I just love this picture so much I think I'm going to have to scrapbook it! :D

150 at BCV here. Wish we had about 200 pts., but can't stand the idea of financing a vacation. Maybe someday... :D

Renee,
This year it will be 9 years, for the following year we have already planned our ten year for a trip to WDW ALONE, no kids! First time I will have left my youngest!

Anyway, I'll be thinking about your excitement about closing that day!

200 points at BWV, since 2000. We just LOVE it! We keep kicking ourselves that we didn't buy sooner! We'd like to add on an additional 50 points.

100 points at BCV now. I had 350 points at BCV and OKW but fell in love with Las Vegas (HGVC).

We're 150 pointers at BCV - leaving for our first trip home this weekend!

We don't have kids or anyone else in the family who are Disney maniacs, so 150 points gives us a great yearly vacation. wish we could afford more, but even if we could, we couldn't get the time off to enjoy it!!!

Lin

We have just purchased our first 50 points and are waiting on the final paperwork and membership cards so we can make our first reservation. I know 50 points ain't alot but that can get us at least 5 days during value season and hey-- we're in!
thx TVENGINEER

150 VWL points and happy! Of course, I do get "point envy" sometimes....but for now, the 150 points suits us just fine for our once or twice a year trips to Disney! We also vacation elsewhere (on cash, not points) so the mix of the two works well for us.

200 pts VWL

This has been plenty so far since we prefer to travel off season (usually go for our anniversary in April unless Easter falls too close that year). We've also had great trips to HH and WDW in the fall.

We're definitely looking at an add-on in a few years when the kids start school and we have to go during the high season. I'd like to do 2 equal add-ons so we can give them to the kids when they're older. Hopefully we're passing on our love of Disney and being together! :earsgirl:
