We have 200pts at SSR. We can't wait for our first trip home in Oct. 2004.

We have 185 BWV points, and it is the perfect amount for us! We get there 2 or 3 times a year with them! I love it - next trip coming up!

I was first looking at 170 but my DH thought 200 would be better (what a smart man he is).

Since we bought in 2001 we've gone in 2002 and 2003, we also have a trip planned for 2004. We've only stayed in 2 bdr with my mom and 3 little ones. We won't be able to go in 2005 because we have to catch up-we've been in a constant state of borrowing.

i have 200 pts at ssr and we will be going home for our first trip 07/02/04-07/10/04 and then we are going to go the first week in december 04'

200 pts at BCV. Our first trip home was May 2003 - 3 nts VB and 14 nts BCV Studio (we had purchased in 2002 and received 200 pts when we signed).

Next trip October 2004 in 1 bed with DH, DD3 and my mom. She's never even flown before, so a transatlantic trip is a great place to start!!LOL.

My DD3 promises to take care of her grannie, she's already done this trip twice. She's telling everyone that we are going to "our other house in Disney!" You can imagine peoples faces here in the UK..........

we bought the most points we could with the cash we had. we did not want to finance any part of it.

when we get more cash, we'll get more pts!

we make our first trip home in june! cannot wait!!!!

the plan is to only use pts for sun-thurs, thus enabling us to go more often

We have 190 at BCV, 155 originally plus a 35 pt addon. I think our guide was less than impressed with our addon!

I wish we could go more than once a year! But as we currently can't, this amount of points is plenty.

I have 150 BWV points which is just what I need. For example 5 nights in a 2 bedroom first week of May is 150 at BCV, VWL, That I have done a few times. Now we are December converts. I always travel with lots of extended family so the pressure to accomodate everyone is usually high. We used to get a 2 bedroom everytime. Me and the boys in the MB, my mom, DD17, DN17, in the studio portion. HOWEVER my mom always wants to sleep on the couch in the living room, which means past 8pm she is mad if everyone is in the living room, and then she gets up at 5am and wakes everyone up. That has defeated the whole purpose for me of having the other room to go to after the little ones are down. So we or, I should say I changed it all around. I still accomodate all but keep my sanity!!!!
I get a 1 bedroom for the boys and I. and a studio for my mom, not even connecting just at the same locale. I know that must sound evil but it keeps the peace.

I had to laugh at your post. I feel your pain. My mom too is one of those dreaded morning people. When she goes with us, I'm going to borrow your idea, doesn't seem evil to me in the least.
If she wants to get up at 5 am more power to her, but the rest of us are going to sleep!

Well, I should say we're going to sleep at late as possible to still make it to 8 am park openings (even I am a morning convert at WDW!)

150 points at Vero! We've been able to get three trips out of that 150 points this year though (borrowing some from next year as well). I already have the "add-on itch" but my husband won't hear of it. Maybe in the next two years or so!

My husband won't hear of adding on either. In my 'logical' moments, I have to agree with him. He says he wants to travel to other places and doesn't want to feel we HAVE to go to Disney every year if we don't want to. Last year we ran out of points and we stayed at Pop Century and The Swan. Next year I am seriously thinking of camping at FW over spring break (we will be out of points by then).

I know when the kids are grown, we won't be going as much (we went three times last year). So logically it makes sense to not get to deep in points that we won't need in a few years. It would be nice to have more for now....BUT....we are doing quite a bit with our wonderful 150 points!

We've got 170 points at VWL.

We bought in 2001 and banked our first year, so far this is what we have used our points for...

2002 4 day cruise/ 4 nights at VWL
Dec. 2003 7nights in a 2bedroom w/ my parents and SIL at VWL
In May 2004, will do 5 nights at BCV in a studio and then will be fresh out of points until '05.

We will probably add on in a few years.

We have 230 at OKW and 50 at VB, but usually use them through II

We purchased 175 points for OKW in January 2004 and then three weeks later added on 25 point from SSR. So we have a total of 200. I would love to have 400 but DH has to put the reins on me or I will go wild. We plan on going twice a year once staying in a studio and once in a one bedroom. If the reins every get loose we will go three times a year.
