DVC 2 free days ticket Promo- what happens if I cancel dvc reservation?

I have a week long dvc reservation for 8 and bought the 4+2 days free promo tickets and already booked my park reservations. Now my mom and aunt are interested in joining us but that will just overcrowd our 2 bedroom suite. Our trip is in June and I cant seem to find any resort that has 3 bedrooms or 2 suites that can be booked together the same week however we do prefer to all be in the same home since my mom loves family dinners. I am thinking of renting out my dvc points and renting a large home instead that can fit up to 12 (a local friend will be visiting as well).
I don't mind paying extra for changing my promo ticket to a regular 5 or 6 day ticket but just worried about losing my park reservations. Has anyone canceled their dvc reservation with the ticket promo or change the ticket type without losing their reservations? MS line just keeps telling me to call later and hangs up. I spoke to the regular customer service (forgot which dept) and the agent doesnt seem to know much she sounds new tbh. Im about to attempt MS again but wanted to check here too. Thanks

We canceled our resort stay AND tickets when we had to make a similar adjustment and our park reservations are still showing up in MDE a week later, so I think you should be good.

Just be aware that there are reports of new emails being sent to people regarding park reservations. Not sure exactly when and how they cancel, but it sounds like if someone doesn't still have what was used to book them, reservation or ticket, they could be canceled. It might have to do with which bucket the park reservations come from?
 
thanks everyone! I'm going to attempt to call again for the 5th day. I keep getting someone who isnt sure or tells me I need to speak to someone in another dept after already waiting hours. I have like 8 different phone numbers on my note pad lol.
