We are staying at FW for Christmas and NY 2008. We were only able to secure a pop-up/tent site. Where do we dump our waste water from our sink and shower? Can we just let it run off the site or do we have to contain it. I understand there is no dump station. What about our toilet? Technically we can flush it down the toilet in the CS but last time we tried to do that the toilet overflowed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

According to Florida law all water must be contained.

For those of us who contain our gray water but do not get a full hook up site, just stop by the comfort station and call the reception outpost. FW cast members direct you to any vacant full hook up site to dump in.

I've just got a portapotty, so I dump it in the toilet, same with my grey water, just a small 5 gallon grey water container.

Also, the comfort stations at Ft. Wilderness are so nice, I would just forgo using the RV bathroom except for late nite necessities, and use the showers and restrooms there.

I don't think there will be vacant sites from Christmas to New Years :santa:

I can't believe with all that space they can't find a place to put a dump station :confused3

It is hard to believe a resort of this size doesn't offer a dump station. Perhaps with the rumors of major renovations one of the improvements will be to add one.
