Actor Harris dies aged 72

Veteran actor Richard Harris, 72, has died at University College Hospital in London having been treated for cancer.
The legendary Irish actor had been undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's disease, a form of cancer, at the central London hospital.
The actor had been undergoing chemotherapy and was said to be responding well to treatment. He was aiming to return for the third movie in the Harry Potter series.
"With great sadness Damien, Jared and Jamie Harris announce the death of their beloved father Richard Harris. He died peacefully at University College Hospital," a statement by his three children said.
Harris became known to a new generation of film fans after starring as Professor Albus Dumbledore in the movie blockbuster Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
He had just completed work on the second movie, Chamber of Secrets, before falling ill.
Harris is most famous for his films A Man Called Horse and more recently Gladiator having trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
He built a reputation for his commanding presence on stage and screen. But he also became notorious for his off-screen antics with a legendary capacity for drinking.
