so I am at my 90 day mark and made ressies.. and all they had was 530 on the date I need. Is it wishful thinking to suppose a later time period will open up as the date(30 September) comes closer?

My original plan was to do AK that day as it closes early, but if I cannot get a later time will that be enough to see the whole park..keeping in mind that last time we went I missed half the park due to being unable to walk. I WILL have the wheelchair up front this time around.

I know enough to skip the little train ride this time around.. there was nothing in that area that was of interest to us, although watching the sheep try and get extra treats after the talk was fun...

I read here on the dis yesterday that V&A has went to one seating per night instead of the usual 2. You don't have flexibility with dining times here the way you do at other restaurants.

It's my understanding when I ate there there were only 2 times seatings one at 5:30 pm or 5:45 & the other is at 9:00 pm. This is the way it was at least when I ate here last April.

Sometimes in past years, V&A had only one seating during the summer months. I can imagine that continues into September.

However, even with one seating the arrivals are normally staggered a bit...maybe from 5:30 to 6:15 or 6:30. Did you book online or by phone?

I called directly. first one I was offered was 500.

if the only other option was 9 pm or thereabouts..then that would be waaayyyy too late as we leave very early the next morning to come home.

I won't worry about it then and will just plan on leaving whatever park we do that day a little earlier.

Thanks....

I wonder....maybe V&A isn't even available on line.

The later seating is too late for us, too.

V&A is well worth leaving a park a bit early. Bon apetit!

I just checked online and it looks like Victoria & Albert's is not available online, you still have to call for them.

Great point BCV23 - that's good info to know!

I didn't even try to do it online, but when I called the number one of the options was for V&A specifically.. Must be they're speshul....

of course Gordon was very precise in telling me about the dress code and made darn sure that my party of two was adults and warned me that it would take 2 -3 hours..which we knew ahead of time..

I cannot wait though, even though it completely doubles our dining budget heheheh
