dumb question on slot machines

I usually play a 25 line for 1 penny each = .25 cents per spin. If I want my payout to be double, then I do 25 lines for 2 for 50 cents. Unless you are going to play the one middle line, there truly isn't any penny machines. To add that wrinkle, I play an extra 5 cents to be able to have better picks of free games/multipliers so I play 30 cents or 60 cents.

I have been extremely lucky the past 2 months for some reason. (it's all gone, I made double car payments, etc). I was playing a 2 cent machine, 30 lines for 60 cents. Got 40 free games. On the last free game, 5 in a row came up with the box and I won 1200. As I was leaving, I was finishing my drink and accidentally hit a 4 dollar bet on another type of machine and won 800. A few weeks ago, again 2 cent machine for 60 cents, got 5 in a row with the box and won 960. Last week I got called up for a drawing, picked a number and got 1000. I just go now once a week to play my free play and 20 and that's it.

That was an interesting video above. I always wondered if those "pick em" things were random or pre-determined. I wish he would have asked about the wheel spins if they are random or pre-determined. My guess is, pre-determined.
