Dumb newbie question.

This will be our first time in the 'world' as a family, and I've managed to research and learn enough from the board to make some great ADR's.

My question is if the ADR is before park opening, how do you 'get in'? Im assuming there will be early buses, and that will be easy enough to scope out when we get there. But when we get to the gates will the gates be closed? Is there one entrance open? Do you have to 'prove' you have an ADR or do they allow you through (with a valid ticket) pretty easily?

There is a specially marked turnstile for early breakfast entries - it has a sign. As to how closely they check, seems to be hit or miss. In any case, there's a CM there manning the entrance, but reports vary on whether they are checking an ADR list - depending on the day, which park, etc.

ADR's before the park opens is a great way to get some nice pictures without too many people getting in the way. Every time we have had a reservation before the park opens, including tours, they have had a list to make sure we are supposed to get in early. We always bring a confirmation e-mail or number with us, just incase there is ever a problem. So far we have never had an issue, but you never know. I would make sure you have a confirmation number handy just incase. Enjoy.
