Yes, we walked thru the gates at 802a on Sunday, they had already let EMH in, and there was no line in the EMH area. However, the line for those who did not have EMH started at the corner by the Animation academy, stretched back thru Disney Jr, and I don't know where else at that point as we headed straight to GOTG. We grabbed a FP at 815a for 905am. We rode 3 times standby during the EMH (wait said 20 mins, none was longer than 10.). At 9am, they allowed the line of non-EMH access to the machines. We had one person not riding so she was already queued up ahead of them to pull our next FP at 906a. When she pulled the FP at 905, it was for 11-12noon. Yes, at 841, there was no line during EMH, however when the park opened at 9am, the line wrapped back around and past Carthay to get a FP when we exited at 920am. I don't want to give someone who doesn't have EMH false hope. It was similar on Monday.
No you can't have more than 2 passes for the same ride at the same time. Each person can only have one pass per ride with their park entry.
Say you and a friend each went to a fast pass machine and each got a ticket to come back between 3:30-5:30. You can't get another fast pass ticket until after 5:30, and from what I understand you must use your fast pass in that time slot or it becomes invalid and can't be used later.

Return times are an hour, like 3:25-4:25. You can get more than one FP for the same ride in a day, you just can't hold two waiting FPs for the same ride at the same time.
Return times are an hour? I thought they were like 2 hours but now that I think back yeah I think it is only one hour. I don't use them all that much. I just time my favorite rides around parades and fireworks & Fantasmic and it works just as well.

Yeah, didn't mean to install any false hope at all-- the post directly before mine where they said it was a no EMH day popped up while I was composing my post, so I hadn't seen it. No EMH changes things considerably!

In addition to it being 1 hour not 2, you could grab another FP at 331 (not 430.) For example, on Sunday, we held a FP for 9:05-10:05 AM, and a friend took our passes and grabbed another GOTG FP for us as we entered the FP line at 9:05am. You can get a second FP to the same ride once your FP time starts.
