DTD buses from resorts?

We are hoping to go to Raglan Road directly from ASMu. We are wondering how long we should allow for transportation?


Would you say they are constant like the other buses to the parks. Will we have to wait for more than 20 minutes for a DTD bus?

Our reservation is probably going to be around 3:45.

I always give myself at least 1 hour if I have a reservation somewhere. The buses seem to come more consistantly at the Value resorts, but that was just what I observed. It will take about 20 minutes to get to DTD by bus.

I agree with you 100% about what. In the past when my parents and I had waited for a Contemporary bus at Downtown Disney, we would always see maybe 5 or more buses for the All Star Resorts and Pop Century before our bus finally arrived.

That is just great, more encouragement for staying at the CR in December. DH and I stayed at the WL in August and we waited an unbelievable amount of time for a bus to DTD, then we had to go tot GF to pick up more people. On the way back the bus stopped at Ft Wilderness, then WL, then GF. Please tell me bus service is better than that at CR. The days we are thre we will be going to MK and Epcot, but we want to go to DTD one night. How is bus service from CR to AK?

I have found bus service to the Animal Kingdom to be ok. In fact when it comes to getting buses to MGM and AK my parents and I have never had problems with it. However the only location we will drive ourselves is when going to Downtown Disney.

Thank you for the reassurance. I was really worried. I guess I will have to wait for the bus, cause we will have 2 ECV's in our party and they won't fit into my car.

Disney recommends 45 mins to an hour if using their transportation to get to a theme park. That is probably more time than it takes but sometimes you will need to allow extra time.
