DSLR camera policy in the parks?

No, other than trying to hang on to it on some of the more user unfriendly rides (coaster type rides). That is why I use a redundant strap to my backpack to secure my travel tripod.

What is Disney's policy regarding bringing a DSLR camera + lenses into the parks? I want to bring my XTi with a couple of lenses in a small camera bag. I'm far from a professional. I would be livid if I got all the way up to the gate and got turned away because I couldn't bring my camera in. Is there an official policy on this?

I am a professional photographer from the UK and I take my D3x with all my kit into the parks every time I go. I also take my tripods with me to do my HDR and normally end up chatting to Cast Members about what I am doing. Remember dont get funny with the cast and you should be ok and dont get in peoples way.

I even take families to the parks to do professional photo shoots and no one says a word, and wont do so long as I dont get the way of other people experiencing the parks. Remember for Disney every family I take for a photo shoot is another set of tickets they have sold.

Hope this helps people...
